The Royal Hispania Foundation for Vintage Boats Foundation came into being in pursuit of the philosophy of Don Juan de Borbón (q.G.e.) of recuperating the many semi-abandoned boats that litter ports and beaches.

The main purpose of the Royal Hispania Foundation for Vintage Boats Foundation is to promote the restoration and conservation of Vintage Boats, as well as spreading knowledge about them, in an attempt to recover our Maritime Cultural Heritage.

The Royal Hispania Foundation for Vintage Boats Foundation was incorporated before the Notary Don Rafael Vallejo, on the 4th of June 1997, in Madrid.
